Mobile Crushing Station: Core Equipment for Construction Waste Recycling

A mobile crushing plant is the core equipment for construction waste recycling. It enables "on-site crushing and nearby reuse", significantly reducing the transportation cost of construction waste. Its core advantages lie in strong flexibility and adaptability to various working conditions.

Mobile Crushing Station: Core Equipment for Construction Waste Recycling

I. Core Functions: Solving Pain Points in Construction Waste Recycling

Targeting the characteristics of construction waste—complex composition (including concrete blocks, bricks, steel bars, etc.) and scattered stacking—mobile crushing plants achieve efficient full-process treatment.

1. On-Site Crushing and Volume Reduction

It operates directly at demolition or construction sites, reducing the original volume of construction waste by 60%-80% and avoiding long-distance transportation of large amounts of waste.

2. Graded Treatment and Reuse

Through the built-in crushing and screening system, construction waste is separated into recycled aggregates of different specifications, such as:

  • 0-5mm fine aggregates: Used for subgrade filling and concrete admixtures.
  • 5-20mm aggregates: Used for manufacturing recycled bricks and permeable bricks.
  • 20-40mm aggregates: Used for road base paving.

3. Impurity Separation

Some models are equipped with magnetic separation devices, which can automatically separate metal impurities such as steel bars and wire from construction waste, realizing secondary resource recycling.

II. Common Types: Matching Scenarios by Mobile Method

Mobile crushing plants with different mobile methods vary greatly in applicable scenarios. Selection should be based on the scale of construction waste stacking and site conditions.

Type Mobile Method Core Advantages Applicable Scenarios
Tire-Type Mobile Crushing Plant Tire traction / self-propelled Flexible movement, fast transfer (speed up to 20km/h), no damage to road surfaces Small and medium-sized construction waste sites (e.g., community demolition, road reconstruction)
Track-Type Mobile Crushing Plant Track drive Strong climbing ability (up to 30°), adaptable to muddy / rough sites Large construction sites, mine-type construction waste treatment (e.g., industrial park demolition)
Vehicle-Mounted Mobile Crushing Plant Integrated vehicle-mounted High integration (integrated crushing + screening + conveying), small floor area Small-scale scattered construction waste treatment in cities

III. Key Configurations: Affecting Processing Efficiency and Finished Product Quality

Core configurations directly determine the processing capacity of the mobile crushing plant and the quality of recycled aggregates. Focus on the following 3 parts:

1. Crushing Main Machine

Select based on the hardness of construction waste. For medium and low-hardness materials such as concrete blocks and bricks, priority is given to jaw crushers (strong processing capacity, low failure rate); if aggregate shape needs to be improved, impact crushers can be matched.

2. Screening System

It is recommended to choose a double-layer or three-layer vibrating screen, which can produce 2-3 types of recycled aggregates at the same time to improve resource utilization. The screen mesh size can be adjusted according to needs (e.g., 5mm, 20mm, 40mm).

3. Auxiliary Systems

  • Dust removal device: Equipped with a pulse dust collector to reduce dust pollution during crushing and meet environmental protection requirements.
  • Hydraulic system: Priority is given to fully automatic hydraulic control, which can quickly adjust the crushing gap and reduce manual operation time.

IV. Usage Notes: Ensuring Stable Operation

1. Pretreatment

Before crushing, manually remove large impurities (such as wood, plastic sheets) to avoid entanglement or blockage of the equipment; if the construction waste contains a lot of steel bars, ensure the magnetic separation device operates normally.

2. Load Control

Overloading is strictly prohibited (refer to the rated processing capacity of the equipment, e.g., 50-100 tons per hour), otherwise it may easily cause the main machine to get stuck and the motor to overload.

3. Daily Maintenance

Regularly check the wear of the crusher liner of the main crushing machine and the screen mesh of the screening system, and replace them in time when the wear exceeds the limit; clean the oil tank of the hydraulic system every week to prevent impurities from affecting the service life of hydraulic components.
