The Detailed Process of Sand Making Production Line

1. Raw Material Feeding

Large raw stones are transported to the vibrating feeder by dump trucks. The vibrating feeder evenly feeds the materials into the primary crushing equipment, while removing fine soil and impurities mixed in the raw materials in advance to improve the follow-up crushing efficiency.

2. Primary Crushing (Coarse Crushing)

Jaw crusher is usually used as the primary crushing host. It crushes large lump ore into medium-sized stones that can enter the secondary crushing equipment. For extra hard stone, customers can choose heavy-duty jaw crusher with strong wear resistance.

3. Secondary Crushing (Medium Crushing)

The materials after coarse crushing are conveyed by belt conveyor to cone crusher or impact crusher for medium crushing. Cone crusher is suitable for high hardness rock, while impact crusher is good for stone with medium hardness and requires better grain shape.

4. Sand Making and Shaping

This is the core section of the sand making production line. The medium crushed materials enter the vertical shaft impact sand making machine. Through the principle of stone striking stone and stone striking iron, the materials are crushed and shaped at the same time, so that the finished sand has uniform grain size, good cubic shape and low needle-shaped content.

5. Screening and Grading

The materials discharged from the sand making machine are sent to the vibrating screen. The vibrating screen separates materials of different particle sizes. The finished sand that meets the standard is sent to the finished product pile, while the oversize materials are returned to the sand making machine for re-crushing to form a closed-circuit circulation.

6. Sand Washing (Optional)

If the finished sand has high mud content and the standard is strict, the sand washing machine can be equipped. It removes mud, dust and impurities in machine-made sand to improve the cleanliness of finished sand. Dewatering screen can be matched to reduce the water content of wet sand.

7. Finished Product Storage

Qualified machine-made sand and aggregate are transported to different finished material areas by belt conveyor for stacking and loading.
