How to operate a jaw crusher

Inspect the tension of V-belts, confirm there is no foreign matter inside the crushing cavity, and verify lubrication status of bearings. Check for cracks, looseness or abnormal wear of key parts. Do not start the equipment if any fault is found.

Startup sequence

Start the jaw crusher without load. Run the machine for several minutes and listen for abnormal vibration or strange noise. Only when the equipment works smoothly can feeding begin. Raw materials should be evenly fed into the crushing chamber, and oversized hard rocks that cannot enter the cavity should be removed in advance.

Running monitoring during production

Keep observing the working current, bearing temperature and discharging particle size in real time. Avoid metal objects entering the crushing cavity, which may cause serious damage to jaw plates. Prevent material overflow and uneven feeding. Stop feeding immediately once unusual vibration, loud noise or sharp temperature rise appears.

Shutdown procedure

Stop feeding first, and wait until all materials inside the crushing cavity are completely crushed and discharged. Then shut down the jaw crusher. Never stop the machine with raw materials remaining inside the cavity, otherwise it will bring trouble for next startup. After shutdown, clean the machine and record operating data and wear condition of consumable parts.
